Winter Park’s rich history, rooted in oranges and magnolias, dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when citrus groves—especially Temple oranges—thrived. Magnolias, symbolic of Southern hospitality, still grace our landscape today.
This year, the Park Avenue District’s holiday décor reflects the spirit of a Winter Park Christmas by honoring our heritage and embracing the timeless charm of our downtown. We aim to create a multi-sensory experience that brings the magic of the holidays to life for both residents and visitors.
